Please join us Friday December 5th, starting at 6:30 p.m. for the holiday movie The Santa Clause, cookies, carols and a visit from SANTA! Admission is $5.00/person and  includes a 5×7 photo with Santa.

All students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire evening. Please note everyone attending must pay the admission.

 

During our visit with Santa, we will also be having a silent auction for gift baskets! Kindergarten has been assigned the  chocolate”theme”! If you are able to make a donation to our chocolate basket it would be greatly appreciated! You can either choose to donate a chocolate item OR donate cash and we can purchase the items needed.

Hi Kindergarten Families,

Our students have been hard at work (play) and lately there has been a lot of interest in Christmas and snowmen. The students have expressed an interest in changing our dramatic area in to a “Christmas House.” Specifically, they have asked to decorate a tree to put in their home.

If any of our families have any extra decorations (no glass/breakable items) and/or a small/ medium fake Christmas Tree they would be willing to donate to our class at this time they would be greatly appreciated.

Good Morning Families!

The snow has arrived and we are all very excited to get out and explore in it.  A gentle reminder that we will continue to go out for outdoor learning opportunities in addition to our two outdoor recess blocks (20 minutes each). With that said,  please ensure you send labelled snow pants, boots, hats, and waterproof mittens with your child.

Please also send an extra pair of mittens and a few pairs of socks as we find that these get wet quickly. We ask that the socks be sent in a zip-loc bag with your child’s name on it. This will be kept in their bags to (hopefully) eliminate many of them going missing.

We are excited to announce our Holiday Concert.  This year it will be held on December 9, 2014 at 9:30 a.m.  We are working very hard to put  on a show for our families and school community.  See you there!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To support our Veterans and our Soldiers, Fred C Cook has put in place Red Fridays.  We will wear red or a Canada shirt each Friday in November to show our support!  We look forward to seeing everyone in red! Poppy donations are welcome in support as well.
