Picture Day is tomorrow, Tuesday September 30th, 2014!!
Tomorrow night (Thursday September 25th) is “Meet The Teacher” night. Our classroom will be open to explore between 6 and 7 p.m. Come and check out all the exciting things that have been happening in our classroom, go on a scavenger hunt of the room with your child, sign up for Student Led Conferences and come say hello to us! We look forward to seeing all our wonderful Kindergarten families 🙂

On Wednesday September 24th our school will be participating in the Terry Fox Run! Our Kindergarten students will be running on the school property.
We are asking everyone to please send your child with a “Toonie for Terry” on that day 🙂 Remember to ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather and wearing comfortable shoes for running/walking.
Sincerely,
Ms. Caietta and Mrs. LeBlanc
We wanted to extend a huge thank you to all our parents who have donated some of our needed items to our classroom; it is greatly appreciated! We have posted a few new items as well as bolded some of the items still needed.
We have also updated the “Important Dates” page and will likely have confirmation of another important date by end of week or early next week so please make sure to take a peek.
In addition, we’ve had an interest (possible inquiry) in to the leaves changing! We did some leaf rubbing today and are hoping to build on this. If you and your child are outside and see some fallen changing leaves, we would love to have them for our class!
Thanks again to all our families, what a great start to the year!
Ms. Caietta and Mrs. LeBlanc
We want to welcome you and your child to our kindergarten program at Fred C. Cook Public School. We are looking forward to an exciting year of new experiences and lots of fun!
It is during the first years of life that children form attitudes about themselves, others, learning, and the environment. These attitudes last a lifetime, so we work very hard to find ways to help children develop positive attitudes.
The goal of our program is to meet your child’s needs not only intellectually, but also physically, socially, and emotionally. Going to school is one of the most important experiences in a child’s life. School can be an exciting place where children meet new and different people and participate in many new and different experiences. We promise to work diligently to provide the children with wonderful experiences that help them to feel good about themselves and their school.
We had great success and feedback from our class blog last year and hope to continue to use the blog as a fun and convenient way for you to stay connected and informed about what is going on in your child’s classroom. We look forward to working together with you and your child.
Sincerely,
Ms. Caietta and Mrs. LeBlanc
